About the role

Full-time position


As Head of Operations and Talent Coordination, you are the backbone of the internal team. You will use data and technical solutions to actively seek out the best potential candidates for TeamFirst. You will also help incoming TeamFirst members through the interview process. Additionally, you will be responsible for financial reporting to TeamFirst management and stakeholders as well as coordinating operations. We are looking for a focused, well-organized individual to support TeamFirst on all technical and operational fronts.

In this role, you will take leadership in: 

Talent Sourcing

  • Source potential candidates for TeamFirst via social and professional networks such as LinkedIn, career forums, and academic institutions. 

  • Identify gaps and opportunities in new talent pools to support inclusion and enhance diversity within TeamFirst.

  • Design and implement results-driven labor market research and analysis to identify the best candidate and company matches.


  • Create an efficient and memorable onboarding process for incoming candidates.

  • Schedule candidate interviews both with TeamFirst and with suitable companies.

  • Design and manage interviewer training paths as well as the interview funnel and process.

Admin and Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for all relevant financials and financial KPIs.

  • Prepare updates and reporting for various stakeholders and talent matching.

You are best for this role because:

  • You love to inspire, develop, coach, and motivate team members through member engagement, retention, and performance management.

  • You have experience with process improvement and/or large-scale transformation through data-driven analysis.

  • You are fluent in Japanese verbal and written skills, Conversational-level English.

  • You are proficient at using Google office suite applications (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Forms) as well as data pipeline management tools.
